Delete Your TurfX Account
You can permanently delete your TurfX account at any time. This page explains how to delete your account from inside the app, what gets removed, and how to request deletion by email if you no longer have the app installed.
Delete from the TurfX app
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the app:
Open the TurfX app and sign in.
Tap your profile photo (bottom-right) to open Profile.
Tap Settings (gear icon, top of the profile screen).
Scroll to the Account section.
Tap Delete Account (shown in red).
Read the confirmation, then tap Delete.
You will be signed out immediately. Your account and all associated data are deleted from our servers right away.
Request deletion by email
If you can’t access the app (uninstalled, lost device, locked out, etc.), email us from the address or phone number on the account:

Subject: Delete my TurfX account
Please include:
Registered phone number (with +91 country code)
Registered email (if any)
Full name on the account
A line confirming you are the account owner
We’ll verify ownership and complete deletion within 7 business days.
What gets deleted (Permanent)
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
Your profile (name, username, photo, bio, location, sport preferences).
Your phone number, email, date of birth, gender and contact details.
Your posts, comments, likes, bookmarks and saved items.
Your followers / following relationships and chats.
Your match history, team memberships and player statistics.
Your wishlist, cart and saved addresses on the shop.
Your push-notification tokens and active sessions.
This action cannot be undone. If you sign up again later, you’ll start with a fresh account.
What we retain, and why
To comply with Indian tax, accounting and dispute-resolution laws, we retain a limited set of records even after deletion. These are kept only for the legally required period and are never used to re-identify you in the app.
Retained
Invoices and tax records for completed bookings & orders (up to 8 years, per the Income Tax Act & CGST Act).
Anonymised transaction logs needed for payment-gateway reconciliation.
Fraud / abuse signals tied to the deleted account (hashed phone only) for up to 12 months.
Removed immediately
All directly-identifying personal data listed above.
All content you posted on the social feed and chats.
All marketing and engagement profiles.
Common questions
I have pending bookings — what happens?
Please cancel or complete any active bookings before deleting your account, otherwise refunds may be delayed. Hosted matches you organised will be cancelled and joined players notified.
Can I just pause my account instead?
Yes — sign out from Profile → Settings → Log Out. Your data stays intact and you can sign back in any time.
How long does email-based deletion take?
We action verified requests within 7 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email once the deletion completes.
I changed my mind — can I recover the account?
Recovery isn’t possible once deletion completes. If you’ve only requested deletion by email and we haven’t actioned it yet, reply to the same thread to cancel.
